When Bobby Charlton and Robin van Persie are mentioned in the same breath, opinions rarely stay quiet. Position shapes everything in football, and these two fulfilled very different briefs. The raw numbers read 249 goals in 758 outings for Bobby Charlton (0.33/game), versus 322 in 694 for Robin van Persie (0.46/game).
